Jembel

Another chapter illustration for 'Affandi'. It talks about what somebody met back on 1930's, someone only a pant to wear with, also a 'eci' (dunno the English version of a Moslem cap), a box of something (maybe shoe polish? or music device? dunno) he used to rely his daily life on. I think we can meet similar like this thesedays. Uh-huh, kids playing bottle-cap-tamborine under the trafficlight lamp, blind man asking for a coin of hundred, etc.
Indonesian would never change...OMG...

But it's not what I meant with the focus of the chapter, it talks about how Affandi struggle to live with his daughter by drawing a theater's poster, while his half was on the hospital, hardly trying to relive health she used to.
